Description:
Mostly sunny and warm with light winds, then partly cloudy and cool overnight with light winds. The high temperature was around sixty five degrees, and the low around forty six degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every 2 to 3 days. Asters, Goldenrod, Prunella vulgaris, Chickory, and Jerusalem Artichoke flowers are in full bloom. Apples are ripe, walnuts are beginning to fall.  All corn cobs are ripe and some leaves are dying. Some corn is beginning to be chopped. Blackbirds and Canadian Geese are beginning to flock. Black Cherry trees have half of their leaves fallen, Walnut leaves and other trees leaves are changing color. The local intermittent stream is dry and the nearby trout stream is flowing at early fall levels.
