We had some rain yesterday however, any change to our drought was very short lived. Yesterday evening there was water flowing in the stream and the retiention pond was filled up to the spillway. This afternoon, however, there was little evidence remaining of yesterdays rain. There were a few puddles left in the bottom of the stream but most of it was bone dry. The water level in the pond had already dropped well below the spillway so nothing was flowing downsteam. We remain under Level 2 water restrictions so the lawns are looking worse than ever. Places that are irrigated are doing well. The leaf fall is continuing to increase with more falling at every breeze.
