After 2.95" of rainfall, we are finally climbing out of the drought. The pastures are beginning to green up (as shown in the photos. The ponds are still very low but they are improving. Even some of the cucumber seeds I planted a month ago are coming up. Even after watering them, they wouldn't come up until it rained. The cooler weather is such a relief. The rain is welcome. Even the cows seem to be relieved.
We are still under a burn ban. I don't expect them to lift it just yet. The grass still looks burnt but it is greening up
