What a start to October. The first 4 days have dropped 5.12 inches on my location. My soil is muddy. This morning (Sunday), I had standing water on my lawn. Messy. This hopefully ends our 9 week drought in a big way. There were trees that had some yellow leaves and that will continue as we progress into Autumn. My grasses were pretty much gone. Birds and wildlife were okay before with feeders and water pans. Area lake will be rising for the post part but remain to see how much some recover.
