September ended up with under an inch of rain, which is pretty normal for us here on the coast. With the new rain year underway there is no rain forecast for the next week. We had mild temperatures and a bit of fog this week. Some of the spring blooming trees and shrubs have now dropped all of their leaves for the winter and the annuals in the garden are starting to fade. Ocean conditions were favorable for fishing and water sports for most of the week. Lots of visitors in the area beating the heat inland.
