We have received 2.51 inches of rain in the past two weeks and that has made a lot of difference in the appearance of plants, lawns, etc.
Before those rains, it was so dry that a person couldn’t dig a hole to plant something and the lawns were all brown since most of the neighborhood didn’t waste water on grass. I am hoping to plant some things to replace what the squirrels have killed and now that we have some moisture in the soil and cooler temps they might do okay.

We had been under a burn ban here in Delaware County, OK but that was lifted a couple of days ago. Now those of us who live on Grand Lake and still have wood washed up on their property (like myself) can get after it again.
