0.01” for this week at this station. A dry and somewhat hot week. Despite cloudy days during the week several days were quite hot. Seems that now a cold front is creeping our way bringing some more milder weather with it. Some areas of drought are beginning to get much better with shrinking areas of severe drought while we remain in moderately dry conditions over this area. The hummingbirds have staked out their own feeder on the garden and are constantly fussing with each other about that as they try to sample each others feeder. Some deer sightings as they move about. A rabbit has taken up residence in the garden and has raised two babies it keeps an eye on, all hiding out under the bushes. My tulip trees had started dropping leaves in a big way, always the first to drop as fall arrives while the other trees hold out for a while longer. Well, all for now. Stay safe and get outside when you can and be sure to mind the weather.
