Last weekend there was rain for several days due to the Nor'easter that gave this location a 1.89" rainstorm. September ended with 4.25 inches, just a few hundreds above the norm. It has been quiet the past 5 days with no rain except for a couple traces.  All in nature is looking pretty normal, green grass and good foliage. The color is good this year and has changed quickly. Even the westerly parts of Brattleboro are looking colorful. Right along the river has a week or more to go. Garden is winding down but still have lima beans, carrots, beets, and several greens.  Birds are mostly quiet.
