Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: NC-WK-185
Station Name: Morrisville 1.5 SSW
Report Date: 10/3/2026
Submitted: 10/03/2026 1:12 PM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Comparing regional AirNow data from the last six months with more than 300 indoor station home barometer total pressure and carbon dioxide partial pressure measures for relationships with significance cutoff at 95% CI. Two of the last six months with the highest cooling degree days (65 F), two of 6 months with number of days with high temperatures > 87F, and 2 of last 6 months with the most inches of rain were also the 2 of last 6 months with highest indoor CO2. Home barometer measures followed normal distribution, but ppm carbon dioxide was consistently above standard most months and not normally distributed. Our HVAC is technically not capable of cooling to 65 when it is 87 outside, and 87 is also critical temperature for CO2. Relationship between CO2 and precipitation/water remains unclear, but there may have been a link between high temperature, rain, and abnormally high and unstable indoor CO2 during that time.
