We went two months this summer without any rain and have now received nearly nine inches in the last three weeks, including over six inches in the last three days. The area is severely water logged and low areas are flooded. The area burn ban was canceled as of Oct 2. The Llano River at Hwy 87 is flowing at over 5600 cfs vs the median of 120 cfs. Bird migrations are in process. We have noticed the male hummingbirds have left but the females are still here.
