Finally! After ten weeks of almost nothing, we finally got a good rain, less so far than some nearby spots, but enough for a week of recovery. Fire danger is reduced (burn bans have not expired yet) and grass and other vegetation is responding well. As much as anything, spirits are improved! A bit more rainfall is predicted, and would be appreciated, and the cooler days ate a wonderful change.
