Has been hot and dry all week. Per SC Forestry app - 17 wildfires across SC. Last measurable rain was 25 Sept (0.56”). River birch trees now mostly yellow/brown and dropping leaves. Our pine trees are dropping the “helicopter” seeds. Local non irrigated lawns still brown/grey and crunchy with bare spots showing.
