Good rain fell in September for a total of 4.33", which is +.65" over average for the month. Major rains that hit central and NE KS from remnants of Polo missed us recently - just over .6" fell the last week. Green has returned and grass that was dormant has come back. Wildlife is beginning to start early fall patterns. Some early migrants are showing up, and deer seem to be moving. Most of corn has been harvested in the area, and beans are turning.
