Welcome new water year. Sept had reliable rain most days. While not too many large amounts, we did see improvements in stream flow, foliage health and reduction in dust. Our month's rain led to near normal September amount, but we remain in drought and have a deep hole to dig out of. If some predictions for increased precip in the coming winter are correct, this should help but not necessarily get us to a healthy amount of water/soil moisture in the watershed.
