For week of 20-26 Sep (a little late submitting): (0+ 6.0+ 2.0+ 0+ 0+ 0+ 0.5)= 8.5mm Near Normal, High's: +16C to +24C; Low's: +12C to +3C (Frost Wrng's); Wind: mostly calm, a few days breezy, N/W gusts to 29km/hr; Dew: 4 Heavy dripping dews, no frost.  This week, although minimal rain at 8.5mm, we had a lot of heavy dripping dew. The grass has been gently soaked. Its surprising how much moisture that is. Is there a gauge or measurement for Dew? The grass is green and thick, but vertical grow has slowed. Trees and plants are still lush. We have had a couple of Frost Warnings, but never got cold enough here. We got heavy dew. On days with no rain, the NS Power Overhead work continues. Tourism continues--double-decker buses are still on the move. Fall is a busy time of year (we're not quite into Oct yet!)for Community Farmer's Markets, and early prep for Stat holidays to come. We are well-hydrated for when the heavy frosts and sub-zero temps do arrive. The deer are enjoying their plentiful grazing. Pretty quiet.
