Cloudy and warm with light winds and light morning drizzle, then mostly cloudy and cool overnight with calm winds. The high temperature was around sixty degrees, and the low around fifty one degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every other day. Asters, Goldenrod, Prunella vulgaris, Chickory, and Jerusalem Artichoke flowers are in full bloom. Apples are ripe, walnuts are 2" big and beginning to fall.  All corn have cobs from 8" to 12" and are ripe. Some corn is beginning to be chopped. Blackbirds and Canadian Geese are beginning to flock. Black Cherry trees, Walnut leaves and sparse other trees leaves are beginning to change color. The local intermittent stream is dry and the nearby trout stream is flowing at early fall levels.
