September has brought 62% above normal precipitation for the month, most of it falling from September 16 through the 21st.  Even though the last seven days has seen little rain, there is good ground moisture and some agricultural fields still have standing pools of water.  The Fox River is at a higher level than would be expected for this time of year.

Of note, is that only March saw above normal precipitation for the first six months of the Water Year, while The last six months of the year all but May was above normal. On balance, the year recorded, at my location, about 12% or 4.65 inches more precipitation than the PRISM average.
