Total precipitation was 0.71 inches resulting in a surplus of 0.51 inches. Tensiometer readings at 18 inches deep in heavy clay soil ranged from 86 cb to 93 cb with the current reading at 90 cb. Man made and sinkhole ponds are at approximately 85% of capacity and holding over this and the previous reporting periods. River birch are shedding leaves at a lower rate as compared to last week which is likely due to the precipitation surplus and daily high temperatures being in the 70s rather than in the upper 90s experienced in the previous reporting period.
