Rain for the week at this location was 0.88 in. which doesn't sound like a lot but was spaced out enough to never get a good drying chance. Temps have been low also. Most corn and beans look more than ready to be harvested. Feeling sorry for the farmers. Finally got a day dry enough to mow lawns this week which left some windrows that need to be swept but like the farmers, the forecast for the week doesn't look like a lot of drying day's. Normal years, that would probably be about the last of the mowing, but this year, the lawn is still green as are the pastures.
