A lot of moisture and clouds around but no rain until the latter part of the week. A trace of rain fell on Thursday afternoon with more significant rain and thunderstorms starting in the very early morning hours on Friday. Rain continued until after 7:00 a.m. A total of .79 inches fell which was the total for the week. Temperatures were cooler with highs in the 70's and lows in the upper 40's to low 50's. The high of the week was 78° on Sunday, Monday, and Saturday and the low of the week was 47° last Sunday. It was breezy, at times, earlier in the week. Some signs of Fall with some leaves beginning to change colors. Otherwise, the surrounding wildland and open areas are still very green. The squash plants in the vegetable garden are in decline and probably finished producing fruit. In the pond, a yellow water Lily was blooming. Saw three Scrub Jays in the backyard as well as finches and hummingbirds. Also, saw a skunk this morning on my walk. The first one I've seen in quite a while.
