Over 2" rain in 4 days has improved topsoil moisture and short-term dryness.  We should see a little improvement in lake and wetland levels, with one more day of rain in the forecast before a dry, warm spell.  Long-term drought relief will depend on winter snowfall, or rain/snow, if the super El Niño plays out as expected. Harvest is temporarily interrupted but should resume normally soon.
