Rainfalls:  This week 0.90”,  last week 0.84”
No rain these past few days allowed the ground conditions to move back to a mildly wet range after the past 5 weeks of being moderately wet. Morning temperatures have been dipping into the 40° range and highs midday only reaching the mid-60s. The creek has receded back to a much lower level. The deer and coyotes have been very active all week. The grass on the lawn has slowed its growth rate as have the ground plants in the woods. The fall colors are just starting. A couple of maples are beginning to show their bright red colors.
