We had a week of pleasant fall weather with 0.50" of rain falling at the beginning of the week. This rain has brought our September total precipitation to 5.50" as of today, which is considerably above the PRISM average (3.29") for the entire month. Temperatures this week have been at about seasonal average with daily highs in the 60's and 70's (F). Sky's have been largely sunny. Lawns are lushly green and the grass is growing fast enough to require weekly mowing. Mosquitoes have been observed around my house, but not in obnoxious numbers. A few trees are starting to show their fall colors.
