This, my final CMR for the ‘25-‘26 Water Year, won’t be able to produce finals simply because of the Nor’easter still in progress. Due to this storm things are currently moderately wet – 6.00” combined total for this event, and there’s more in the forecast. As things stand, we’re at 11.37” for September – that’s 274% of PRISM average. As things stand for the Water Year To Date, this station has received a total of 61.25” – and that’s 123.7% of average. So we’ve come close to even-ing out on last year’s deficit, and may well hit that mark depending on the rest of this storm. This Water Year has had something of a “feast or famine” feel to it… while many of the months were within reasonable range of average, December, April, June and August were notably below average, and October, July and September all significantly overperformed. Seasonal color changes continue; the veggie garden is pretty much done except for roots, seasonal changes are happening in the flower gardens. Wildlife activity appears normal. Pond level is currently well above control depth due to the rain.
