We received no measurable rain this week. Creeks, streams, and spring fed ponds are normal, but the rain fed pond is still lower.Cooler temperatures after Monday helped lower our moisture loss from the soil. From mid April to mid August we were near normal to wet conditions so we're ending our water year-to-date in the lower normal range. Some beans, corn, and hay harvested this week with lower yields from these later crops. Little to no grass growth this week.  Livestock doing well as is the wildlife. Tree leaves are still turning color but not as fast this week. The dry conditions are going to really have an impact on our leaf color this year. We are thankful.
