I’ve had 2.07 inches in the gauge over the last 14 days which is the best all summer. More is forecast for the next week so we may begin to move out of this dry phase. As I’ve reported all summer my immediate area gets enough to stay fairly lush. Trees are starting to turn and it’s happening as usual although just a few miles away leaves are dropping from drought stress not season change. Wetlands are drier than normal and insects other than ants are scarce.
