With 2.76" of rain over the week and a total of 6.81" for the month so far, it's safe to say that moderately wet soil conditions are here.  And with our NWS forecasting more rain right into October, it looks like wet conditions will be around for a while.  Area waterways were running on the high side but have come down, while the nearby Beaver Creek was over its banks and is now just above its normal level. Trees and underbrush are still pretty much all lush and green and it still looks like a jungle out there.  Lawns are about as green as can be and still require mowing about every 4-5 days.  Wildlife is becoming more active as roadkill is sadly increasing quite a bit.  There was a coyote not too far away last evening.  I haven't seen one of those critters for quite a while.  It was keeping its distance and was looking kinda wily.
