Conditions here are severely dry. We received some rain last week and now totals over one inch for the month.  We are still far behind for the year and water year.  Some cooler temperatures hearald the Fall.  The ground is still "dry" and  leaves are changing color and starting to fall.  Farmers are starting to harvest, people are outside tending yards.  We are still under water restrictions.  A recent algal bloom in Jordon Lake, part of our water supply, caused taste issues.  This is attributed to the lower water levels caused by lack of rain.
