At the beginning of the week the soil was dry and it was hot.  We received 0.24 in. of rain this week and it ended on the cool and cloudy side.  It is nice to have fall here finally.  I have been sneezing a lot this week, especially when it was hot and dry...seasonal pollen is ramping up.  I can tell the angle of the sun is different now and it is getting darker earlier which I love.  Fall yard work will commence when it isn't raining.  Lot of busy squirrels this week and I also saw two deer when leaving my house one morning this week.  Oh, and last weekend when I was mowing I must have been close to a rabbit nest because a tiny baby ran out of some tall grass and into the black raspberry patch.  I didn't know rabbits had babies in the fall.
