Slightly dry in my area and moderately dry at NKU.  The lawns are slightly brown in our area with a lot of green.  Pond level below normal.  At NKU the grass still is brown with some tree drought stress. D0 - ABNORMAL DRY - BEGINNING OF A DROUGHT at NKU and no drought in my area. The trees are normal in our area about 1/2 mile away from this university.  Most of Kenton County below 39 D 02 M latitude and most of Boone and Campbell County I-275 and south is D0 - ABNORMALLY DRY.  North of I-275 conditions are slightly dry to near normal in Campbell County and mildly dry north of I-275 in Boone and Kenton County.  The rain last week helped my very local area; but NKU did not receive that much rain and was already in D0 for several days.
