Cloudy, with two record daily rainfall records set this past week.

Soil moisture by the end of the week were very wet, but overall at 4” in the normal, while 8” depth is dry.

Lawns are green with weekly mowing frequency. Tree color change is about 5-10% color and losing leaves from dry stress. Summer hibiscus continue blooming and are at the end of their season. 

Bird activity now is mainly sparrows, some doves, and cardinals. Have seen a return of the hawks in the area. Squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits are out and feeding on grass and seed overspill from bird feeder, while squirrels are starting to bury food for the winter.
