Way too much rain this past week with rivers near cresting and creeks out of their banks.  Farm fields have lots of ponding again.  The field crops showed lots more maturation this week as well.  But will it become dry enough to work in the fields needed.  And the lawns are over grown once again.  Surprised to see that the hummingbirds are still in the area, while the barn swallows left last week.  The only bright  spot is in seeing the fall flowers blooming.  Folks are becoming more aware that the fruit trees have little to no fruit on them for fall picking, especially apples.
