We’ve had 1.25” so far this month, so lawns are mostly ok and fall foliage is fair. Some trees are dropping leaves, drying out on top, and look stressed. Lake levels are low and dropping further, revealing some nice beaches but causing problems for boating. Beavers are rebuilding lodges in wetlands with marginal amounts of water, or they are moving to lakes. Wells <50’ have lower water. Nonirrigated crops are patchy and dry.
