We have received 3.05 inches in the last 5 days and 4.85 inches in September.  I have reported 36.18 inches this year and that compares to the Prism normal of 30.40 inches.  The ground here is soggy with some low areas having standing water for several days, we did see some water running across a couple roads in the area this week, and we are expecting more rain in the next few days. There are places only a county or so away from here that are having moderate flooding.  The temperatures have gotten a lot cooler in the last few days, once again going from almost sweltering to cool in a matter of a week or so. There were a couple corn fields that were harvested before the rain started early in the week.  Most of the corn didn't look dry enough yet and the soybeans are starting to turn yellow.  the grass is green and growing.  Some outdoor events have had to be shortened or cancelled or parking had to be changed because of the wet ground in the area.
