Only 0.02” of rainfall this week and continuing heatwave has us in the moderately dry category again. The 2 week total rainfall is 1.53”. The plants/crop growth that had recovered a little bit 2 weeks ago from the rain are now suffering again from lack of water and the heat. Ranchers are having to feed hay to livestock due to lack of forage. Streamflows and water levels are very low compared to average. We are still in a burn ban.
