General:  We're getting some moisture relief, so I've backed my drought assessment to reflect this.  We're currently at .97", with an expected rainfall for September of 1.355 (sd=.937).  We're definitely closing on our average.  The result is less fire danger.  We had a great storm on Sep. 18 see photo from my friend, Rose in Pocatello), with lots of cloud-to-cloud lightning and good rainfall.
Agriculture:  A sigh of relief as we get some ground moisture for next year's crops.
Energy:  Still in the positive energy stage of the year, with 52.50 kWHR generated and 14.99 kWHR used.  We had partial could cover, but also didn't have to use heater or air conditioner.  I did bake, however!
Fire:  Definitely a safer period.  I'd say mild risk, considering moisture and cooler weather.  I don't see any fires in the area right now.
Plants/wildlife:  A sigh of relief with the cooling temperatures.  We saw an immature bald eagle (or Golden eagle).  We suspect it's a bald eagle as it was flying from an area up-mountain that we've seen bald eagles before (suspected nesting site).  The beavers on Buckskin are starting to rehabilitate the pond the Bannock County Roads and Bridges crew destroyed in the summer.  Hummingbirds have moved on.
Water:  Again, we're on a slight up-tick, with September approaching 6-year normal.
