We have had a very wet, rainy week with 3.55" of rain falling over 5 days. This rain has brought our September total precipitation to 5.00" as of today, which is considerably above the PRISM average (3.29") for the entire month. Temperatures have been about seasonal average with daily highs in the 70's and 60's (F). Sky's have been largely overcast and gloomy (dark). Lawns are lushly green and the grass is growning fast enough to require weekly mowing. We have a lot of black walnuts and acorns falling now. Quite a few mosquitoes have been observed around my house.
