Dew on the grass and side of gauge. Had a gorgeous sunset with baby blue sky with streaks of light orange. Maples turning red and orange, except for the almost black-leafed maple in a neighbor’s yard. Calm. Temperature was in mid 40’s when I went to check the gauge. Spider webs present. One in a perfect circle. Mushrooms in the yard. Milkweed yellow for those in the sun. The others are still green. Acorns have been coming down like tiny bombs in the hundreds, especially during the windy afternoons. They ricocheted off the porch, car, and house. And they hurt, if they hit you. We sweep them into the street to get mashed by car and truck tires, then put them into the gardens as mulch. Smells good. Will work on these crushed acorns today before the rain comes. 
Unknown as to agriculture in the area. Our one plant of Ground Cherries had a small crop. First time I grew these. The seeds are so tiny. No squash. A couple small crops of raspberries. Have to share them with the ants. 
Have used the heat pump in the morning and overnight last night. Weather has been cool and breezy lately, which is good walking weather. 
Not aware of any local wildfires. 
The hummingbirds are gone. Saw 3 Monarch butterflies a couple days ago heading south. Many of the flowering plants are going to seed. The golden rod and asters have maybe 10-15 bees ?? on them along with other flying insects. 
No water restrictions. Maybe 2-3 people in a doctor’s office or store are wearing masks. 
The color changes in the trees up north will and are increasing.
