Despite getting 1.59" of rain this week (all in one day) conditions remain moderately dry. Streams are at a trickle and some brooks are completely dry. The grass is still green been isn't growing nearly as fast as during the summer. My linden and pear trees are dropping leaves ahead of schedule this year. Only 1.97" of rain month to date.
