Hot and dry conditions continue with only a light shower this week. Lawns and grass turned green for a few. days.   Burn bans and high fire danger warnings are posted through the area. Shoal Creek is low but still has a good stream. Deer are plentiful and eating anything they can find. Leaves are dropping from the drought with no color change just brown and dried. A few humming birds are still here in this past week of summer although one migration wave has passed through.
