This week, it felt like early Fall. A bit more sunshine, but shorter days. Nights are getting cooler. We had one very substantial overnight rain, 46.0 mm. Left the grass very squishy. Absorbed within a few days. Trees, shrubs, plants are lush and green. Flowers are still thriving, gardens are vibrant. With cooler overnight temps, some trees showing signs of colour change, hints of yellow. Deer are rotating their grazing, new fawns kept to edge of woods, or higher grass. Red Fox and kits in and out of woods. Pheasants have taken cover. On people side, yellow school buses now a daily thing, as is continuing NS Power overhead work. They've made tremendous progress. Its quite the process to replace an old hydro pole. And all of this work does not impede tourism. The double-decker buses are very busy. As days grow shorter, so are viewing hrs.
