Finally!  Got some good rain in August and it shows.  Streams are running decently; hay and other crops are being harvested; our horses have good pasture; lawns are being mowed; flowers are in bloom, and the view is verdant and lush.  (That's odd for this time of year in this locale, but we'll take it after the prolonged drought.)  Now we have leaves dropping, goldenrod popping up, and our dogwood trees suddenly sport large, red berries.  Nature is moving along.
