Description:
Mostly cloudy and warm with light winds, then mostly cloudy and warm overnight with light winds. The high temperature was around seventy four degrees, and the low around fifty four degrees Fahrenheit. Songbirds are eating a feederful every other day. Goldenrod, Prunella vulgaris, Soapwort, Chickory, Mugwort and Horse Nettle flowers are in full bloom. Apples are ripening, walnuts are 2" big.  All corn have cobs from 8" to 12". A fifth cutting of hay is occurring. Blackbirds are beginning to flock. A few Black Cherry trees, Walnut leaves and spare other trees leaves are beginning to change color. The local intermittent stream is dry and the nearby trout stream is flowing at late-summer levels.
