Days were hot this past week while evenings cool.  Sunrise continues to be later indicating autumn is on it's way. Some rain but not a lot.  Rivers are once again showing sandbars and within their banks.  The grass is growing more slowly, thank goodness.  I'm seeing more butterflies flitting around the flowers that are  blooming. The barn swallows have left for warmer climes while the hummers still remain. Soybeans and field corn are showing more maturation each week.
