Just under 4/10's of an inch of rain the last 48 hours has helped even more. Our dry land pastureland grass is starting to green up, especially along the driveway edges. The other light fuels don't looked as stressed. Dust has been knocked down for now. Nights are much cooler, as this morning it is 36F. Any new fire starts will not have the explosive rate of spread as we have had all summer. Still a threat, but much easier to contain vs this summer with the cooler temps and moisture being put back into the fuels.
