Rain amounts have varied widely throughout the immediate area, where within 20 miles radar rainfall estimates range from near 0.00 inches to 4-5+ inches. At this station, however, rainfall totaled about 1 inch for the week, including about 0.72 inches yesterday. Therefore, conditions are mildly wet. This rainfall has helped support the plants, which (especially in shallow soil) were beginning to slow their growth and even turn a little brown. Dust activity has been reduced to normal levels, fire risk is low to normal, and streams and lakes are normal.
