With 2" of rain in September and more normal temperatures (although we did have a high of 84 one day last week), it feels like the severely dry conditions are over for now. Some grass has even greened up. Streams still slightly below normal. Paused the garden irrigation this week. Poor tomato crop this year--late and not that many. Was it the heat or the smoke or what? Wildfires are mostly out, although USFS complained that the rain was hindering their indirect line construction (it's really logging)!
