Description:
Rain chances all week but only a trace of rain the first couple of days and then no rain until the end of the week. Rain and thunder Friday afternoon with more substantial rain in the evening. A little more rain on Saturday but most of it fell on Friday. The total rain for the week was .45 inches. Temperatures were warm with highs in the 80's all week. The high of the week was 88° on Thursday. Lows were mostly in the 50's with a low of 55° on Wednesday. No strong winds but breezy with thunderstorms around. The surrounding wildland and open areas are still green with lots of wildflowers blooming. Harvested the first green beans out of the vegetable garden and the corn is about finished as is the squash. One large pumpkin is developing on the vine. Otherwise, the asters are blooming and the grass is growing fast. Finches and hummingbirds frequent the garden daily. No other wildlife seen.
