No rain in this report period and a couple of quite hot and humid (for the coast) days. When temperatures get up to the mid-high 70s, we start to feel the always present humidity. It cooled off by the end of the week with the return of morning fog. Lots of visitors in the area still, particularly for a major wine festival this weekend. A good number of fishing boats out, as ocean conditions were favorable. Our young raccoons seem to be getting bigger every day, and we how have a pair of foxes in the gardens. Birds are flocking for the winter. Some of the ornamental and fruit trees have lost most of their leaves, so Fall is definitely on the way.
