After a drier than average August, we have had 1.93" of rain in the past 2 weeks giving us between Mildly Dry and Near Normal Conditions. Lawns are now green and growing enough to require mowing every week or two. Grass areas that were turning brown in August have returned with lusher green growth. Temperatures the last couple of weeks started hotter than average, with daily highs in the mid-90's (F) along with high humidity's and uncomfortably high dew points; but they have trended downwards with highs in the 80's and 70's this past week. We have had some semi-scary storms featuring interesting wall or shelf clouds the first week of September (See attached photos).
